We're delighted to be able to welcome visitors back to the Peak District, now that the lockdown restrictions are being lifted. There's a lot to catch up on! Of course, the last few months have been challenging and devastating for families around the world, whether it's through illness or the loss of loved ones, or just the challenges of home-schooling and dealing with the effects of isolation and loneliness. For small businesses in the travel industry, it has been a period of unprecedented uncertainty. Thanks to key workers who have sacrificed their own safety and wellbeing throughout the crisis, things are getting back to normal. Or, at least, a "new" normal. We've been welcoming visitors from all around the world to the Peak District for the last 5 years. It didn't seem right to be telling people not to come here! So we're thrilled to be able to welcome our customers back to the beautiful Peaks. We've had to make some changes too; some in order to follow health advice and government guidelines for safety; others to further protect the safety of our customers, as well as those who live, work or spend their leisure time in the national park. Book With Confidence
At the time of writing, pubs and cafes are emerging from their enforced hibernation and many are able to safely welcome customers again. Our customers can choose whether to bring along their own food and drinks, or we will work hard to ensure that refreshment stops are available throughout the day. We can't offer all of our tours at the moment though. Those which are affected by the temporary closure of locations such as Lyme Hall, Haddon, Sudbury Hall and Chatsworth have been put on hold until September, although this will be constantly reviewed and considered in light of further developments. The remainder of our tours offer our guests the perfect opportunity to enjoy social distancing on a grand scale. We can take you to. parts of the Peak District where it will feel that you have the whole landscape to yourselves. Apart from the odd sheep. So, if you'd like to explore the beautiful landscapes of the Peak District with us, please get in touch. Don't forget, we can pick you up from the front door of your accommodation too. If you'd like any more information, please email us at [email protected].
Oh, and one more thing. To reflect our gratitude to health workers around the world, we are delighted to offer them a 10% discount on all of our tours. For further details, please email us.
