We're delighted to be able to welcome visitors back to the Peak District, now that the lockdown restrictions are being lifted.  There's a lot to catch up on!

Of course, the last few months have been challenging and devastating for families around the world, whether it's through illness or the loss of loved ones, or just the challenges of home-schooling and dealing with the effects of isolation and loneliness.  For small businesses in the travel industry, it has been a period of unprecedented uncertainty.

Thanks to key workers who have sacrificed their own safety and wellbeing throughout the crisis, things are getting back to normal.  Or, at least, a "new" normal.

We've been welcoming visitors from all around the world to the Peak District for the last 5 years.  It didn't seem right to be telling people not to come here!  So we're thrilled to be able to welcome our customers back to the beautiful Peaks.

We've had to make some changes too; some in order to follow health advice and government guidelines for safety; others to further protect the safety of our customers, as well as those who live, work or spend their leisure time in the national park.

Book With Confidence

  • We have received the "We're Good To Go" certification through Visit England.
  • All of our tours and transfers respect social distancing requirements.  Current guidelines recommend minimum distance of 1m.
  • All of our tours are private tours for one booking of 1 to 7 people.
  • Between each of our tours, the vehicle is cleaned and all interior surfaces and handles sanitised.
  • Hand sanitiser gel and antibacterial wipes are available throughout the tours
  • We ask that any customers who have symptoms of Covid 19 do not travel with us and isolate in accordance with health advice.
  • In addition to our standard terms and conditions, all of our tours and transfers can be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the start date, with 100% refund of any monies paid. There are no booking fees or admin fees.  Alternatively, the tour or transfer can be re-scheduled to another date upon request.

At the time of writing, pubs and cafes are emerging from their enforced hibernation and many are able to safely welcome customers again.

Our customers can choose whether to bring along their own food and drinks, or we will work hard to ensure that refreshment stops are available throughout the day.

We can't offer all of our tours at the moment though.  Those which are affected by the temporary closure of locations such as Lyme Hall, Haddon, Sudbury Hall and Chatsworth have been put on hold until September, although this will be constantly reviewed and considered in light of further developments.

The remainder of our tours offer our guests the perfect opportunity to enjoy social distancing on a grand scale.  We can take you to. parts of the Peak District where it will feel that you have the whole landscape to yourselves.

Apart from the odd sheep.

So, if you'd like to explore the beautiful landscapes of the Peak District with us, please get in touch.  Don't forget, we can pick you up from the front door of your accommodation too.  If you'd like any more information, please email us at [email protected].

Oh, and one more thing.  To reflect our gratitude to health workers around the world, we are delighted to offer them a 10% discount on all of our tours.  For further details, please email us.

Good morning!
I would like to visit peak district in the Oct 10th or 11th (better this date), but I am not sure if you are able to operate, if you didn't get people enough to operate it.
Do you have informations that you can guarantee me that it will be operated at this date? I will be in Manchester during that time.
Thanks in advance,

Duarte

Hi Duarte, thanks for getting in touch. I’m pleased to advise that we currently have availability for both of those dates.

All of our tours are run as private tours for 1 to 7 people, so each booking can definitely run without worrying about other numbers of bookings. This also adds an element of safety in terms of social distancing of course.

For anybody staying in Manchester, we can either pick up and drop off at your accommodation or at a suitable train station if you prefer.

If you would like to book any of our tours, you can either visit our booking page or you can email me at [email protected]. We are also offering a 100% deposit refund if you need to cancel.

Many thanks,

Mark
