...summer. The gentle hum of the bees, the musical choruses of the birds that have returned to the Peak District to nest for the warmer months, the babble of meandering brooks, oh and the quiet thrum of the engine of a VW Caravelle winding its way through the beautiful landscapes. We're looking forward to a very exciting, busy few months over over Live For The Hills Tours' first summer. It's certainly a great time of year to visit the Peak District. What have we been up to?We've had a hectic spring as we welcomed visitors from all around the world to the peace and tranquility of the Peak District national park. Travellers have joined us from France, Poland, Canada, USA, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Australia and many more countries, all seeking to explore this unique part of the world. And the best thing is, because we offer bespoke tours with complete flexibility for our customers, every day is different. Take our popular Peak District Photography Tours and Scenic Tours for example... What's Coming Up?Our summer tours are booking up fast but we still have availability, so feel free to get in touch if you'd like to check particular dates and prices. Our most popular tour is the full day Scenic Tour. The beauty of a private tour is that it can be completely flexible, according to your particular interests. Whether you prefer idyllic villages, historic landmarks, traditional cream teas, ice cream farms, bustling market towns to explore or complete tranquility far away from the crowds, we can help you enjoy a perfect day in the Peaks. We have had customers who particularly wanted to see stained glass windows by Pre-Raphaelite artist Edward Burne-Jones. No problem at all... And we're not confined to the boundaries of the National Park. If we can get there within the day, we will. Just as when we were requested to visit the stunning Mow Cop Castle in the wilds of Cheshire. We're taking bookings throughout the year, and we have some exciting, brand new tours coming soon, including The Peak District At The Movies, where we will be visiting lots of film and TV locations around the Peaks. And, for the brave at heart, we will be exploring the depths of the Haunted Peaks on our very own ghost tour. More details of all the new tours will be announced soon. And don't forget, around late August and early September, we have a spectacular few weeks in the Peak District, when the purple heather bursts into bloom across the hills. This is a sight not to be missed so be sure to book early for our scenic tours around this period. We look forward to welcoming you to the Peak District soon.
