Bespoke Pride & Prejudice Peak District Tour

This is the ultimate one day tour for fans of the classic novel and the various productions that have been filmed in and around the Peak District national park.

Our guests on this bespoke private tour can select any combination of the locations featured in Pride & Prejudice, including the "Colin Firth" BBC production and the "Keira Knightley version" respectively.

So, if you would like to squeeze in all the various houses used as Pemberley into one day, then this is your chance.  Or you can choose the village or landscape locations and mix them however you would like.  This tour is ideal if you are planning to visit Chatsworth separately during your stay in the Peak District.

The itinerary is up to you!

The tour is suitable for all ages and all levels of fitness.  Prices include pick up and drop off from your preferred Peak District location, but exclude food and drink and any admission charges which may be payable for entry to houses and gardens.

Itinerary

This is a bespoke, private tour which can feature any of the locations featured in Pride and Prejudice, including:
  • Lyme Park (Pemberley in 1995 version)
  • Chatsworth House (Pemberley in 2005 version and thought to be Austen's inspiration for Pemberley)
  • Haddon Hall (featured in 1995 version and countless other productions)
  • Ramshaw Rocks (iconic location from 1995 version)
  • Stanage Edge (clifftop scenes from 2005)
  • Longnor (used as Lambton in 1995)

 Our tours normally run from around 10am to 5:30pm, although the times can be flexible,  As with all of our tours, we can pick our guests up from their accommodation or from a local railway station.

There is no fixed itinerary on this tour so you can design your own perfect day, whether it is solely visiting the country houses or whether you would prefer to explore the landscape locations and picturesque villages, the choice is yours.

We can tailor the day to include as much or as little walking as you prefer, so the tour can be suitable for all ages and all levels of fitness.
