Live For The Hills was created in 2016, based on our blog about middle-aged adventurers enjoying the Great Outdoors. Our blog was never intended to be the most scientific of guides but it was written to share the experience and love of walking. Some of our walks are great successes; others (mainly thanks to Matt's navigational skills) are less successful. But, they are all real. Readers can share in Big Col's ecstatic reaction when he finds an unplanned pub and his misery when he finds another stile to climb over.
It progressed naturally from the blog that we would showcase our own landscape photography.
That, in turn, led to us developing a further side to Live For The Hills, our unique range of Peak District Tours which were launched in 2016. We provide a range of bespoke or scheduled tours for tourists, photographers of all levels, sightseers, hikers, Jane Austen aficionados or even real ale buffs.
We're delighted to have welcomed visitors from all around the world to the Peak District national park.
We're also very proud to have been selected as an experience provider in the English National Parks Experience Collection, promoting the unique history and culture of the national parks to an international audience.
We want to share our passion for this beautiful part of the world. It's not just the landscape that makes the Peak District special, it's also the people.
Our customers can take something tangible home with them to remind them of their day in the national park, as well as their memories of an unforgettable experience.
